Flapper valve for Cyclone Dipleg

Design of flapper valves in accordance with UOP specifications and ASME code.
All the flapper valves are manufactured with 304H SS.
This material has a minimum carbon content of 0.04% and a maximum carbon content of 0.08%.
The carbon content is limited at 0.08% because materials with higher content are subject to embrittlement and cracking.
On the other way carbon content must be >0.04% because a value lower than this severely limits the strength of the material at the elevated temperature experienced internal to the FCC regenerator.
